RC download by registration number: what you need
Keep the vehicle registration number ready from your RC or another reliable vehicle document. This is the number assigned to the vehicle, not its engine number, chassis number or an application reference. Check letters and digits before submitting, especially similar characters such as O and 0.
GreenTick PDF's RC download form asks for your vehicle number and permission to retrieve the record. It does not ask you to supply a chassis number. You can request a copy for your own car, bike or another authorised vehicle, subject to provider coverage. A correct number does not guarantee that a downloadable record will be available.
Vehicle RC print online: save and check your PDF

Printable RC copy or an official digital RC?
This is an independent paid document retrieval service using a third-party provider. The downloadable PDF is a printable copy of the available record. It does not issue an RC smart card, replace the authority's duplicate-RC process or update ownership details. Record coverage and provider outages can prevent a download even when your registration number is correct.
For an issuer-provided digital RC, explore DigiLocker or mParivahan. Use VAHAN and your registering authority for registration applications, corrections or replacement requirements. Follow the verification requirements of the official service you choose; these may differ from this form. If an order here is already paid or pending, follow its status instead of making another payment.

What do I need to download an RC PDF?

Can I download an RC from the vehicle number without a chassis number?
On GreenTick PDF, you enter the vehicle registration number; our RC form does not require a chassis number. A PDF can be provided only when the retrieval provider returns a usable record. Official platforms may require additional details or authentication.
Can I download and print a car or bike RC online?

Is this the same as an issued DigiLocker RC?
This service creates a printable PDF from the available vehicle registration record. It does not issue, renew or replace a registration certificate. Use the issuing authority or DigiLocker when an issued digital document is required.
Can every vehicle's RC be retrieved?
Availability depends on the vehicle record and provider coverage. Newly registered vehicles, older records or records with missing details may not be available.
What if my payment succeeds but my RC is unavailable?
Your order page shows the retrieval or refund status. Keep the order reference and contact support if the order needs review. Do not pay again for the same pending order.
Do I need to create an account?

Can I correct or renew my RC here?
